To say this book is fiction would not be true.  Even though it's a book of poems, they are poems about everyday life, my life, and probably many other people's lives.  I like to say things as I see them, this way of expressing myself has certainly got me in the shit from time to time, but it's worth it.

I haven't just thought of a heap of words that rhyme and bunged them on paper and hoped that I could call myself a poet.  I've looked back at my life and written about my experiences and other peoples experiences, and I'm still not calling myself a poet, I'm just telling stories that rhyme.
