My nickname was "Crazy Cronin". The path I chose to travel from a young age was me challenging the world to have a go. Everything I did was to the maximum and usually overdone. I tackled the drug scene, the bike scene and every scene that was going. My mates would get one tattoo, I would get four. It didn't matter what challenge was put in front of me, I would have a go.
Now that I've been through it and survived, I want the youth today to understand that if they take the path I took, they may not make it, I was lucky. I still love bikes and tattoos and I still drink grog, but the old saying is so true, everything in moderation, and you will live to challenge another day.
I look after hard to handle boys, and in my book I explain in it that over half of their problems are caused by their ignorant parents. The youth of today is having enough trouble surviving even when they have good parents, how the hell are the kids supposed to survive when their parents are arseholes...
